Summary:Planning is linked to a changing environment that is continually offering new challenges to businesses, requires that both the tasks to be performed by the marketing of services as the importance attached to each of them are different, in a process continuous adaptation. Companies focus on strategic planning competencies and better meet their users or customers through an efficient and effective service, which allows them to link their resources, be more productive and competitive. Strategic planning is an important management tool in the current time to know the current situational state in which an organization is facing its internal and external environment, thereby being able to raise some strategies to address weaknesses and threats to it and secondly to present better exploit the strengths and opportunities that this organization has. The theoretical or literature review summarizes the theoretical elements of the issue focuses aspects management and strategic planning and implementation, strategic planning processes, SWOT matrix, strategic decisions, business strategies among others. The present investigation started with the development of methodology, by means of which determined the methods and techniques that are used research for development thereof, and the methodological procedures for obtaining information such as the If the sample size of the study population and which were applied field instruments among which stand out the surveys and interviews to do the same, then there is the part of presentation and discussion of results which provides a situational analysis to analyze the internal and external aspects of the transport cooperative Elite Tours of the city of Loja. Below 397 were conducted customer surveys that use this type of transport, employees working in the company and the drivers that lead these units and an interview with the manager of this company in order to obtain information to know the tastes and customer preferences. With this background is done the SWOT analysis of the company Elite Tours, in establishing the history of the company, the services offered to the market, residence, vision, mission, organizational structure, organization, to the formulation of the final report and responsibilities arising as a result of strategic planning. Finally are exposed to the conclusions and recommendations reached in order to propose alternatives and to solve the problems that have been encountered in the business, and take advantage of opportunities offered by the market to grow and strengthen.
