| Samenvatting: | The present investigation called PSYCHOMOTRICITY TECHNIQUES IN THICK GIRLS AND BOYS 2-4 years with quadriplegia, ATTENDING THE PHYSICAL REHABILITATION UNIT CITY CADE Loja, DURING THE PERIOD MARCH - SEPTEMBER 2013; whose overall objective was to determine the influence of the techniques applied to work gross motor skills in children with quadriplegia 2-4 years of age, attending the Physical Rehabilitation Unit CADE The research was descriptive, the Scientist, Analytical - Synthetic, Deductive - Inductive, Statistical Model and methods used. The instruments to collect information regarding the study variables were: 6 children showing up as having quadriplegia age ranges from 2-4 years which they apply a psychomotor evaluation; A survey was conducted in addition to 2 therapists CADE intended to obtain information about the techniques for developing gross motor skills in children with quadriplegia considered for this research work . Accordingly it is concluded that the technique of applying thick psychomotor rehabilitation therapists to patients is the Bobath technique and psychomotor level having children / as is concerned, according to the data obtained in the psychomotor assessment particularly affecting in regard to the control areas of foot, leg and trunk. As a result of this it is recommended that therapists to implement appropriate therapeutic work in the physical therapy room with the children to improve their level of gross motor skills and thus be able to get better results with children techniques attend the CADE |
