Gaia:This research work, called “ANALYSIS, DESIGN AND SIMULATION OF A WMAN NETWORK THAT IT ALLOWS THE INTERCONECTION OF ALL DEPARTMENTS AND EXTERNAL UNITS OF THE DESCENTRALIZED AUTONOMOUS GOVERNMENT, OF THE MACARÁ CANTON, TO OWN CENTRAL NETWORK”, through the all units interconnection, seeks improve, the operational level of all departments and external units from de Decentralized Autonomous Government of de Macará Canton; gathering all the computer equipment to a single network that, using quality standards, to offer the right platform to all the computer equipment’s interconnection, and at the same time, to provide the fundamental base for the correct operation of presents and futures, integral informatics solutions, that will constitute one of the essential pillars al operational level. During the development of this issue, has been used methods and techniques that allowed, first, analyze efficiently, the Macará GAD actual situation. This activity has been of very important, obtaining a panoramic vision of the distribution and the performance of each departmental unity. The technical and operational work it carried out in conjunction with de Information Systems Unit, knowing quickly and reliably major drawbacks, both operationally and networks infrastructure. The bibliography used to this project, is exposed in books, virtual magazines, Internet, etc., it was used to document this project, as well as for the choice of applications and methods that were used for the elaboration of plans, measurements, network design and finally, the network simulation. This thesis will support to the decision-making by the Macará GAD, for the implementation of the communication infrastructure required for the performance of other integrated solutions and future projects that undoubtedly will improve the operating level and quality of services to community.
