| Sumari: | The development of information technologies has facilitated the optimization of processes in organizations, allowing to save time, money, and human effort in the performance of recurring tasks, increasing productivity, and minimizing the possibility of making mistakes that involve the investment of more time and resources. In this regard, the main objective of this Degree Project (DP) is to develop a web application using the ICONIX methodology that allows the Human Talent Department to register leaves of absence and consult of vacations available of the employees of the District Directorate 05D03 Pangua - La Maná - Health, to answer the research question: Does the implementation of a web application that allows the registration of leaves of absences will facilitate the human talent department in the consultation of available vacations of the company's employees? This DP consisted of four phases for the development of the web application with the assistance of the ICONIX methodology, in the first phase the interview technique was applied to obtain the requirements of the application, and the requirements specification document was elaborated according to the IEEE 830 standard was prepared. The preliminary design phase of the application was then carried out. The third phase was the detailed design, where the application's behavior was assigned, using sequence diagrams to obtain the final class diagram to be implemented. In the last phase, the web application was implemented through the Spring development framework with the Spring Bootstrap framework with relational database in PostgreSQL. In the same phase, unit tests were performed to determine that the software models work correctly, load and stress tests were performed to validate response times and the acceptance test was executed through an interview which was performed by means of an interview where the web application was validated in contrast with the initial requirements of the client.
