Voeg label toe | Samenvatting: | GOLDMARCA MINING ECUADOR S.A. has a necessity to continue with the exploration works to find the modeling of the mineralized body in the Los Cuyes sector. The proposal includes the project design of a horizontal exploration adit 450m long and encompasses both technical and engineering activities and further complies with established Environmental Mining Legislation. The design of the adit is in the Los Cuyes sector of the Goldmarca mining concession located in Puerto Minero de Chinapintza, Paquisha in the Zamora-Chinchipe Province. For determining the general conditions observations and descriptions are made of this sector. In order to realize the topography, regional, local and structural geology and characterization of the rocks in this sector, field work was undertaken which consisted of taking samples. Office work was also undertaken on the analysis and interpretations allowing the elaboration of different reference maps from this information together with deriving results from the obtained data. Characterizing the geological environment where the work will be realized allowed us to know the conditions of rocks, the system of faults, and type of fortification to use and the duration or time in which the tunnel can be without fortification. Continuing with the process, the model of the adit with its respective dimensions was chosen and knowing the rock type and the hydro-geological conditions the choice of the type of explosive substance was made. This continuing process also included using different calculations from blasting specialists, aspects of ventilation, illumination, machinery and accessories to be used for undergoing the engineering work. For the completion of mining work all this information was followed with the economic feasibility being necessary including a previous evaluation of all the expenses that would be realized at the time of the exploration tunnel being commenced. This would include amongst other costs and expenses: machinery costs, equipment costs, consumables, personnel costs, accessories and equipment of occupational health and industrial security. All the realized activities in the mining sector rely on a preliminary study of environmental impact which helps to have a vision of the factors affected for valuation and prioritizing. This allows us to formulate and to investigate adapted measures to be able to mitigate the short term impacts and act in a responsible way regarding the physical, biological and anthropological aspects. |
