Summary:In the research process it addressed the topic: "The authoritarianism of the Parent and its impact on the aggressive behavior of children of 5-6 years of school Graciela Atarihuana Cave" of the city of Loja, during 2012-2013. Proactive guidelines. It was proposed as general objective: To determine whether the authoritarianism of parents affects aggressive behavior presenting certain children 5-6 years of school "Graciela Atarihuana Cave", the city of Loja, in the period 2012- 2013. The research development was supported by the following methods: The Descriptive, Analytical, Synthetic, the scientific method and the statistical method. Among the techniques used for data collection they were: survey for parents and teachers, an observation guide for children of 5-6 years old. The work it performed on a population of 3 teachers, 63 students and 63 parents, with a total of 129 respondents. The main results of the research and according to the surveys of teachers, 100% of them expressed that if there is aggressive behavior in the classroom by the students. A 77.78% during the observation in the classroom and on the playground if they showed characteristics of boys and girls with aggressive behavior problems. From what we can conclude that authoritarianism of parents if affects aggressive behavior, for which the parents are encouraged to overcome certain manifestations of authoritarianism with their children and encourage their homes a favorable environment through dialogue, guidance and ongoing motivation to their children and thus contribute to the reduction of aggressive behavior.
