Sažetak:Nowadays the nutritional diagnosis is a fundamental element in clinical practice for the management and therapy of chronic non-communicable diseases, that is my goal to meet Chantaco one of the rural parishes of the cantón Loja what the "nutritional diagnosis in mothers of students in Dr. "Eduardo Mora Moreno" high school, and identify the comorbidities presenting and practicing healthy habits. The type of study used was descriptive, cross in the population of 120 and sample of 116, the survey was used to identify comorbidities and habits in Microsoft Excel. Results: 79% of the population was mature adult (36-60 years), the nutritional diagnosis of the mothers were overweight by 47% and obesity grade I in 34%, grade II in 7%, Grade III 3%; Comorbidities found were arterial hypertension in 28%, hypercholesterolemia and constipation with 20%; unhealthy habits that were found inadequate intake of water was 97%, daily consumption of fried foods by 13% and sausages by 10%. One of the healthy habits of mothers of students of the school is to consume 5 meals a day. I can conclude that in the parish Chantaco mothers are overweight, and obesity, comorbidities, arterial hypertension, hypercholesterolemia and constipation and they practice unhealthy habits.
