সংক্ষিপ্ত:The Curricular Integration Project titled "Economic and Social Effects of Dissolution and Liquidation of Companies in the Province of Loja" was developed with the aim of determining the economic and social impact generated by companies undergoing dissolution and liquidation during the period 2015-2020. The study employed a quantitative descriptive approach, presenting information provided by regulatory agencies through tables and dynamic graphs. Initially, the database of the Superintendence of Companies was considered to establish that, during the period 2015-2020, 90 companies from various economic sectors entered the process of dissolution and liquidation. Through the official website of the Internal Revenue Service, it was determined that the state received a total of $73,213.60 in 2015, while the contribution for 2020 amounted to $3,296.54. Similarly, social information was obtained through the Ministry of Labor, which revealed that these companies entered into 268 contracts during the period 2015-2020. However, according to data collected from the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security, a different scenario emerged as the registered notices of termination by companies in the province of Loja during the period 2015-2020 amounted to 305, indicating that the reduction in companies' contribution to the state through Income Tax affects the budget for public expenditures. Furthermore, the social effects are evident when comparing additional statistical data such as the number of economically active population in the province of Loja and the unemployment rate. It was found that the year with the highest incidence was 2016, with 137 notices of termination, representing a 0.048% increase in the unemployment rate compared to the economically active population.
