| Özet: | The integration of different didactic materials in the teaching of the Language and Literature subject is now considered to be a priority, since these materials provide what is needed to enrich students’ knowledge in a stimulating and interactive way, where they are the main builders of their own learning, so that, by motivating them they are able to develop skills and abilities that allow a significant and lasting knowledge. In this paper called: Didactic material for the teaching-learning of Language and Literature to fifth grade students in the Luis Antonio Chiriap School, Macas 2024, the general objective was: To determine the incidence of the didactic material through a pedagogical proposal for the teaching-learning of Language and Literature to students in fifth grade in the Luis Antonio Chiriap School, Macas 2024. The three specific objectives were: To identify the types of teaching material used in the teaching- learning process in the subject of Language and Literature; to design a pedagogical proposal with didactic material to strengthen the teaching-learning of Language and Literature, and to evaluate the pedagogical proposal. This study is of a correlational type with a mixed quantitative-qualitative approach, as it enabled the collecting, interpreting, and analyzing data in a single approach, facilitating the understanding of the research problem realities in an efficient way. In addition, the sample selection was performed through a non-probabilistic sampling for convenience, therefore we worked with 8 students and 1 teacher. The main results evidenced that the educator makes little use of manipulative material, considering that there is a great variety of didactic materials that can make education effective; consequently, it was necessary to apply a pedagogical proposal based on didactic material that significantly influence the teaching-learning of students. |
