| Zusammenfassung: | The present work of investigation had as purpose realize an semitic analysis of the political cartoons relating to the second moment of the Yasuní-ITT Initiative published in the Ecuadorian Diaries El Universo and The Universe, during nueves months; it is to say of August, 2013 until April, 2014, period in which there developed a total of forty five cartoons. For this reason, the general objective was to analyze the semiotic of the political caricature referring to the second moment of the Yasuní-ITT Initiative in the newspapers La Hora and El Universo. Period August 2013-April 2014. In addition, three specific objectives were proposed, the first to develop and interpret the different languages corresponding to the iconic and rhetorical level of the cartoons referring to the Yasuní-ITT Initiative. The second objective sought to establish what was the position and the guidelines maintained by the cartoonists of Diarie El Universo and Diarie La Hora to create the cartoons referring to the Second Stage of the Yasuní Initiative - ITT and the third in which it was intended to keep a record textual, semiotic and graphic caricature of the second moment of the Yasuní-ITT Initiative. Therefore, to fulfill the proposed objectives, two research techniques were applied, the observation form in which five parameters were collected and analyzed: referential level, compositional level, kinésic level, verbal level and symbolic level; Therefore, this technique allowed to fulfill the first and third specific objective. The second technique was the interview with Xavier Bonilla, caricaturist of Diario El Universo and Marcelo Chamorro, cartoonist of Diario La Hora; This technique allowed to know the process of creation of the cartoons and the ideological guidelines that both cartoonists maintained, thus achieving the second specific objective and, therefore, the consolidation and fulfillment of the general objective was achieved. With this information, important data was acquired, which, after being analyzed and discussed, allowed obtaining valuable conclusions and recommendations Finally, as an alternative proposal, the creation of a Manual for the semiotic analysis of cartoons and a digital gallery was proposed in order to maintain a graphic, textual and caricature record on the second stage of the Yasuní-ITT Initiative. |
