總結: | Tuberculosis (TB) is a potentially serious infectious bacterial disease, those who are diagnosed it is of the utmost importance that they start treatment and it is fully complied with, thus preserving health, obtaining a good prognosis and preventing its spread. This being a quantitative, retrospective and cross-sectional study, it was carried out with theaim of determining patients adherent and not to the antituberculous treatment of the Health Units 07D02 of the city of Machala, which had to comply with it during the period May to October 2019, in addition to the factors that probably influenced their adherence. The information was collected by means of a closed descriptive survey type instrument, of the same authorship as that ofthe present study, this instrument was carried out by sampling technical validation and was adjusted under the criteria of specialist medical professionals. It was applieddirectlywith each participant, prior to the verbal and written information provided through the informed consent document, which each patient read autonomously, and granting theirparticipation by signing it. Among the resultsthat were obtained, 35 patients who started antituberculous treatment, these presented prevalence in males and in the age of40 to 64 years, in addition 8 of these did not comply with antituberculous treatment. The factors that probably influenced adherence to treatment were: 93% of the adhered group receive care support at home on a daily basis, 100% of the non-adhered group presented difficult territorial access to health units, prolonged work activity that impairs health availability of time, and who have had a desire to suspend treatment, these in terms of social factors; while those related to the health service, presented a compliance of the information provided by the doctor of 93% for the adherent group and 100% for the non-adherent group, while the compliance of care by the medication delivery staff is of the 96% only for the adherent group and 0% for the non-adherent group |
