Riassunto:The present research work titled "Vulnerability of the Right to Health of Children in Schools in the City of Loja as Contemplated in the Organic Law of School Feeding" aims to analyze, in a well-founded manner, the public policy on school feeding and its relationship with the ongoing issues related to nutrition and how it affects the health and nutrition of children in schools, with a primary focus on the children in Loja city. In Ecuador there are public policies for school feeding, the National Comprehensive School Feeding System, which has its School Feeding Program, provides a food supplement known as school snack, being beneficiaries the public and fiscal educational institutions from children of Early Education, General Basic Education, and teenagers of third years of high school, both in the morning and afternoon section. Likewise, there is the School Food Law and its Regulations, whose purpose is to promote health and encourage healthy eating in the student population, starting from the mandatory compliance of all institutions that make up the Food System. Its purpose is to ensure the full exercise of the right to adequate food, the quality and control of the food distributed in educational institutions, as well as to contribute to the prevention and eradication of malnutrition, through the promotion of healthy eating habits and the improvement of the nutritional status of children and teenagers. However, it has been evidenced that there are still factors that make different rights vulnerable, such as health, food and nutrition, there is no focus of attention and different cases that need to be treated for the full enjoyment of the program, in terms of food education is also lacking not only for children and adolescents but also for the administrative and teachers, then all these are missing, resulting in a precarious system in the effectiveness and commitment to the students. Therefore, this research is driven by the reasons mentioned above, it will find concepts, history, evolution and alternative solutions for both the Food System and the Food Program so that there is no violation of rights. In this research work, different materials and methods were used to carry out a solid investigation and meet the objectives set, surveys and interviews were conducted with professional experts in the field, so as to obtain different opinions and the interpretation of the problems raised.
