Sumari:The present research, talks about the importance of online tools in the autonomous learning of students of the School of Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador Ambato Headquarters, period 2014 - 2015. To which analyzed the information provided by students and teachers; references and qualified in the subject of study. The results revealed the initial objectives and the research work that is required to use online tools to strengthen independent learning of students of the School of Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador Ambato Headquarters, 2014 period - 2015. The methods used for obtaining results are managed in various activities such as field research "in situ"; bibliographical-documentary research; exploratory research and descriptive research, which allowed for more accurate reality of use of online tools in the independent work of students of the School of Business In this manner allowed structure and ensure that online tools strengthen and develop self-learning attitudes that lead to obtain reliable knowledge in the professional preparation of students. The results obtained based on surveys showed the need for training in certain online tools that help and support student academic management; Another important aspect is to strengthen and socialize the correct use of online tools for self-learning; and it is essential motivate independent work with interactive initiative.
