| Résumé: | This thesis offers an individual service of academic information emission from the Telematics, Electronics and Telecommunications laboratories for mobile devices based on the 802 standard.11, as a demonstration of the functionality of indoor geolocation systems that broadcast advertisements (offers, promotions, discounts, among others), for shopping centers based on Hotspot networks with the aim of attracting customers and this produces higher sales, so this implementation is focused on testing within the laboratories of the career of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering at the National University of Loja a system of similar benefits, with the purpose of evaluating the functionality and demonstrating the efficiency of these systems, by adapting one of them to meet an academic need such as providing information from each laboratory to students when entering or being near one of them. Beginning with a brief analysis of the different methods and systems currently available in the field of indoor geolocation designed for 802.11 technology, the basis for the development of a complex system and thus expand it to other fields related to indoor location is punctuated. Currently, there are systems and applications for mobile devices that offer geolocation services indoors, but these are proprietary and therefore limited to the functions already established. This implementation presents an open, autonomous and flexible system that is attractive for research and development purposes. Currently in the laboratory facilities there is no system that provides services based on indoor positioning, for this reason was analyzed during the development of the implementation some ways to apply the information management service by geolocation that is economically viable. Free tools such as Aircrack-ng, Nodogsplash, PostgreSQL, PHP and python were necessary to implement the information management platform as an application of a geolocation system indoors. The challenges and development involved in the implementation are detailed throughout this document. |
