Beskrivelse
Summary:This research focused on the analysis and implementation of a web application for managing information on mechanical conditions of vehicles from the road maintenance department of the “Ministerio de Transporte y Obras Públicas” of Loja, Ecuador. The end result was an application that allowed for a quick and efficient way to provide confidence and ease for users. The research focus and application design was primarily based on the utilization of vehicle registry, repair requests and requisitions, and kardex, so that vehicles can be used in a quick and efficient manner. Additionally, the evaluation of the mechanical condition of the vehicles was based on the assessment of the condition of their mechanical spares and to obtain reports from mechanical condition and location of vehicle as well. The development of this work began with the analysis of different methodologies, tools and technologies in accordance with the project parameters. As a result, it was possible to identify and determine the four phased Iconix methodology. This research obtained the software requirements which were the starting point in making the domain paradigm. A description of the user cases, diagrams related to robustness, and flow sequence was used in creating a dynamic model. The analysis of a dynamic model was developed which was completed by using two levels of dynamic adaptation, allowing the user to add new properties and entities as emerging new requirements as deemed necessary. Similarly, the results of the section titled Phase 3, indicates how the user can initially create properties for a class extending from this model and creating them through the graphic interface By testing the functionality and usefulness, the system operation was verified according to the requirements and parameters initially proposed, whereby it was concluded that this software is very helpful because it allows increasing the efficiency while allowing for the information record in performing the necessary vehicle activities including those related to maintenance and use.
