总结:The curricular integration work named the reading corner, effective didactic space to strengthen reading comprehension, which has as its general objective to determine the incidence of the reading corner in promoting reading comprehension of students of Secondary School, of the Carlos Burneo Arias Basic Education School, in the province of Loja is a mixed approach, descriptive type and non-experimental design research; the theoretical framework addresses issues related to the reading corner and reading comprehension based on an updated bibliography; the methods used were: scientific, statistical, analytical, synthetic; the population investigated includes 15 students and a teacher from the morning section of Secondary School, to whom a diagnostic evaluation of reading comprehension and a structured interview were applied in correspondence with the two study variables. The results allowed to identify that a high percentage of students have not satisfactorily developed their levels of reading comprehension; In order to support the strengthening of reading comprehension, specific teaching strategies were identified and described, and an alternative guideline, the magical world of reading comprehension, was designed. This guideline contains activities aimed at strengthening reading comprehension through the implementation of the reading corner. According to the foundations described in this research, it is expected that the problem of reading comprehension is feasible to solve, therefore, it is concluded that the reading corner influences the strengthening of reading comprehension
