In a home where an atmosphere of love, respect, trust and sta-bility, boys or girls breathes breed and develop psychically healthier and safer, and related to the outside of this same way, with an attitude more positive and constructive towards life. (Lozada, 2011) Fieldwork it is used by using the diri-gida survey to 20 students with disabilities, 20 mothers and 10 teachers working at the Center for De-velopment and Special Attention "The Angel". The specific objectives allowed to establish actions that facilitated iden-tify theories on the subject and in turn the object of study on Family, psychosocial development of children with disabilities and social work intervention support, which led to know causes and consequences of the limited attention family in the psychosocial development of children with disabilities and handle the issue of how best to establish interven-tion strategies and provide alternative solutions to the current diagnosis. the scientific method was used as Empirically, Inductive and Analytical-synthetic methods for conducting field research. This methodology me-awareness of the problem in which children are immersed in the institu-tion and the information for which the reference framework was built was compiled was ensured. He proceeded to apply the techniques and instruments such as the observation sheet, the survey of students, mothers and teachers working in the same, this allowed to obtain the reference data necessary for explanation and interpretation and analy-sis of the phenomenon under study. The main findings obtained in the process of field research found that most children are affected by the limited attention of the family, 5 whose causes are family disintegration, lack of father figure and the economic situation in they live. Emphasizing that these social fact lead to generate effects; low self-esteem, negative social attitudes, not par-ticipatory, selflessness, aggressive to meet the limited attention of the family is a factor behavior are constraints to achieve an optimal state and thus achieve a psychosocial development, finally a proposal for in-tervention to improve family relationships to create a harmonious and caring environment between parents and mothers, sons and daughters of the Centre for Development and Special Attention "the Angel"
