| Summary: | Currently the technologies of information and communication advancing considerably, but often these advances are not reflected in the educational field is for that which is necessary to seek alternative educational institutions to provide and enhance the teaching-learning process. This research work is born from the need to present technological alternatives that may be of contribution to education, is aimed at investigating all aspects of Augmented Reality about and what the contribution of this technology for education and more specifically to be development of teaching-learning process. The main task of this research was to verify whether Augmented Reality can be an alternative to improve the acquisition of knowledge, for this a prototype developed in Augmented Reality same that was presented at the School of General Education Basic "December 3 was performed "Canton Catacocha, also socializing with students and teachers Career Computer Education, National University of Loja was made. Resulting technology of Augmented Reality was positive because it was provided with a new technological resources in educational institutions, in addition to student allowed to display the information in real time, where could interact with content in an interactive and dynamic. |
