Opis
Streszczenie:This research was conducted in the parish of the canton Olmedo Olmedo, with the objective of evaluating the collection of propolis using different types of plastic nets beekeeping in this area. Eight beehives were analyzed constituting each hive an experimental unit, which were divided into two treatments of four each, the first treatment matrixed plastic traps are placed, unlike the second treatment which was placed plastic mesh nets. obtaining the following results: in the variable propolis production matrixed with plastic mesh averaging 51.5 grams and with plastic mesh mosquito net averaged 38.8 grams; an average of 12.7 frames with abundant bees for treating one treatment while two recording frames with abundant bees 12.3; an average of 8.3 frames with brood in treating one to 8.6 frames with two breeding treatment; Queen existing presence in both treatments during the entire investigation. Concluding that does not influence the type of plastic mesh applied to each treatment in relation to: the evolution of the population of the hive (presence of Queen, as in the variables: frames with abundant bees and frames with brood) in honey production, but in the production of propolis having a difference of 12.3 grams between treatment averages. When analyzing the profitability of a higher percentage in treating one obtained. However the amounts obtained in this study may differ from other areas according to vegetation beekeeping interest of each area of study, so it is recommended to continue with future investigations at different sites. Keywords: hive, propolis, plastic nets, traps, production.
