Summary:This research is aimed to know: “THE GAME AS THERAPY FOR THE PROCESS OF DEVELOPMENT IN CHILDREN PSYCHOMOTOR 5 TO 6 YEARS OF BASIC EDUCATION SCHOOL OF JULIO ORDOÑEZ LOJA CITY DURING SCHOOL YEAR 2013-2014”. It starts from the problematic situation marked its object is given by play therapy in the psychomotor process that influences the application of leisure activities play as therapy psychomotor, these factors have a very significant event in psychomotor development of learners when developing their physical and intellectual capacities. The objective is aimed at analyzing the game as therapy psychomotor process that generates better learning in children of first and second year of basic education "JULIO ORDOÑEZ", school appropriate methods and techniques, including methods theorists were used, analysis synthesis logical historical, deductive and inductive, surveys and test the children surveyed were applied, a pre-experimental design was used as a pretest and posttest was conducted to validate the results achieved after applied the alternative, coming to the conclusion the non-application of play therapy on psychomotor processes impact on the development of psychomotor skills of students.
