الملخص:The present study of this research entitled: PREVENCIÓN DEL ACOSO ESCOLAR ENTRE ESTUDIANTES, PARA FORTALECER LA AUTOESTIMA EN LOS ALUMNOS DE OCTAVO, NOVENO Y DÉCIMO GRADOS DE LA ESCUELA DE EDUCACIÓN BÁSICA ENRIQUE AGUIRRE BUSTAMANTE, DE LA PARROQUIA SAN SEBASTIÁN, BARRIO QUILLOLLACO, DE LA CIUDAD DE LOJA, PERÍODO LECTIVO 2013-2014. He was raised as a general purpose intervene in prevention, awareness raising and Bullying situations to build self-esteem in students of eighth, ninth and tenth grades of basic general education school Enrique Bustamante Aguirre. For the development of the inductive-deductive, descriptive, analytic-synthetic and hermeneutic method was used, all these methods fulfill specific roles in the course of the investigation. The technique used was a survey of 10 teachers, 26 parents and 29 students in order to obtain information on bullying behaviors and school life and relevant aspects of student self-esteem. The results show that the relationships among students, despite having a small number of students have basic characteristics of bullying, since it in an educational context is identified as the behavior of physical or psychological persecution carried out by the student against another, which chooses as a victim of repeated attacks, causing negative effects such as decreased self-esteem, depression boxes. So we also have the most frequent causes of Bullying in students are: family problems, low self- esteem child. Presenting pictures of violence, both physical and verbal or psychological, as parents and mothers not fully involved in the relationship with their children; there is no educational or family commitment; which is why a proposal for prevention, about bullying was developed. Finally conclusions and recommendations, so boxes intervene to prevent school violence among students of the institution is presented
