Summary:The self-esteem is a value which everyone gives as human by himself. It could be positive and negative and it shapes throughout life based on thoughts, emotions and experiences evaluation. The objective of the present research proposal was to determine the relationship between the self-esteem and the school bullying with the students from 10th year of General Basic Education at Unidad Educative Adolfo Valarezo from Loja city 2022-2. 023. This research proposal emerges as a need to know the aspects related with the practice of bullying in the classrooms. A mixed method approach was developed, with the study was descriptive type, under deductive and inductive method, which helped to infer the different conditions from the observed facts, starting from the general to the specific, the used design was the no experimental, a direct observation was developed from the phenomena. The sampling is compounded by 172 students and the sample taken is 30 students who are around 14 and 16 years old. The instrument applied to get the data was the Rosenberg self-esteem test and a survey related with bullying. The obtained data show that exists a negative moderated statistic relationship between the self-esteem and school bullying, This suggests that higher levels of bullying within the school environment are associated with lower self-esteem in students. In order to solve to the problem statement an intervention called “Safe Classrooms without Bullying” was conducted as a proposal by creating workshops which help to eliminate the aggressive behavior inside the classrooms, cultivating a better learning environment and therefore a better improvement to students’ self-esteem.
