Riassunto:Pregnancy is a period characterized by a series of physiological changes aimed at adapting to and responding to the substantial demands of the 40 weeks of gestation, during which the formation of a new human being takes place. It is crucial to monitor the systemic and oral health of pregnant women during this period. Manú, a province in the Saraguro Canton, faces limitations in some basic services, poor dietary habits, and a lack of awareness about disease prevention measures. Consequently, intervention in this vulnerable population of pregnant women has become necessary. The objective of this research was to determine the dental epidemiological profile of pregnant women in the province of Manú of the Saraguro Canton, Loja Province, and identify the most prevalent oral diseases. This descriptive, field-based, and cross-sectional study involved 15 pregnant women. The general dental clinical history from the National University of Loja was utilized, and through data interpretation, diagnoses were determined. The collected data were processed using the statistical program SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) version 29.0.1.0. The results indicated that 100% of women presented with caries and periodontal diseases, followed by malocclusion in 66.7% and tooth loss in 60%. Regarding periodontal diseases, 33.3% had gingivitis, and 66.7% had periodontitis, with a higher frequency during the second trimester in women aged 26-35 years. In conclusion, the most prevalent pathologies in pregnant women from the province of Manú were caries and periodontal disease
