Zusammenfassung:This research work's main objective was the development of a virtual learning course for the student welfare department of the Emiliano Ortega Espinoza school in the city of Catamayo, to serve as a tool for educating students about stress or emotional tension and their different consequences. It was developed based on an exploratory study, allowing the formulation of a problem that had few precedents in respect to its study and thus is a source of guidance and information about the problem of stress that is affecting the daily lives of students and society in general, becoming an irremediable trigger in young people, who by their lack of knowledge come to make decisions that affect their physical and mental integrity. For this purpose, the Alvaro Galvis methodology was used to create Virtual Learning Environments, which allowed the development of an online course with a user-friendly interface for the student in addition to key themes and was easy to understand. The help of teachers trained in the area of Educational Psychology and Medicine was invaluable in this process. After the evaluation of the Virtual Course alongside teachers and students, users determined that it had a good audiovisual environment, quality and structure of content, ease of use plus interactivity between multimedia elements and teaching materials that were easy to understand. As the final product the virtual course which contributes to the Department of Student Welfare in the Emiliano Espinoza Ortega school was decided upon, as it had clear and attractive teaching material, was in accordance with the abilities of the students, the needs of the institution plus the reliable information gathered and finally, it met the stated objectives
