Tóm tắt:The present research focused on describing the relationship between gamification and the teaching-learning process of Mathematics in the second year of high school at the "27 de Febrero" School. The study followed a mixed approach, exploratory and descriptive, based on documentary and field research. The methods used were documentary and empirical review. For the gathering of information, the search log, content sheets, survey, and observation were applied to 1 teacher and 81 students. The results revealed that the teaching of Mathematics is based on traditionalism, there is no incorporation of gamification, and therefore, students show demotivation and rejection of this subject. It was concluded, gamification is an active methodology that significantly contributes to the teaching-learning process however, the teacher does not use it at all.
