The purpose of this research is to determine the level of compliance monitoring nursing to contribute to improving the quality of life while encouraging physical exercise as a complementary treatment of hypertension subcentre users. The research is experimental, transverse, literature, field and descriptive, quantitative and qualitative design type. For data collection, the survey for which a questionnaire was developed to assess nursing intervention for patients with hypertension applied the same had the following results of the investigation show that the level of compliance in monitoring patients with hypertension is low with a percentage of 62% and 22% indicates the median and 15% rated it as excellent. Which leads to the conclusion that monitoring nursing is not performing at an optimal level. A proposal for self-care with the dissemination of healthy lifestyles, exercise, music therapy and tai chi was developed. Educational activity was performed according to the manual. Keywords: Hypertension, Patient Monitoring, Compliance ComplicateEl propósito del presente estudio es cumplir con el seguimiento de enfermería a los pacientes con hipertensión arterial, usuarios del Subcentro “Tarqui” del Cantón Puyo, Provincia de Pastaza. El problema que se observó fue la alta demanda de atención de pacientes que acuden con presiones elevadas. El objetivo es determinar el nivel de cumplimiento del seguimiento de enfermería, para mejorar la calidad de vida, fomentando también el ejercicio físico como un tratamiento complementario de la hipertensión arterial en los usuarios del Subcentro. La investigación es de tipo experimental, transversal, bibliográfica, de campo y descriptivo. Para la obtención de datos, se aplicó la encuesta previa la elaboración de un cuestionario para evaluar la intervención de enfermería en los pacientes con hipertensión arterial. Los resultados son los siguientes: el nivel de cumplimiento en el seguimiento a los pacientes con hipertensión arterial es bajo, con un porcentaje del 62% y el 22%, esto indica que es mediano, y el 15% lo califica como excelente. Lo que lleva a la conclusión de que el seguimiento de enfermería no se está realizando en un óptimo nivel. Por ello se ha elaborado una propuesta de autocuidado con la difusión de estilos de vida saludables, ejercicio, músicoterapia y tai chi. La actividad educativa fue realizada en función del manual. Finalmente, se entregó el manual a la licenciada coordinadora de enfermería, luego de culminar con la actividad educativa.
