| Sumari: | The objective of this research is: to carry out a Feasibility study for the creation of a company that produces and markets mint ointment in the city of Loja, based on market, technical and financial studies. For the achievement of the objectives the inductive and deductive methods were used as well as techniques such as the survey, interview that allowed to obtain the information required in the studies. In the results: the market study determined a demand of 40,167,891.22 grams of mint ointment and the offer 3,919,608 grams, obtaining a satisfactory balance of 36,248,283 grams of ointment for the first year; With these data, we proceeded to the realization of the marketing plan, where the price, advertising, place and product design were established. The technical study specifies the location and size of the plant, in which it is detailed that the project has an installed capacity of 14,250,600 grams per year of mint ointment and the utilized capacity of 11,400,480 grams of ointment in the Year 1 because it starts with 80% of its capacity, having a market share of 31%. In the administrative and legal study of the company, the business group was determined, its constitution and organization as a limited company, the human talent needed for the project and the function manuals. Regarding the financial study, the total investment of $ 49,438.46 is disclosed, which will have 70% with its own capital and 30% will be through a bank loan from Ban Ecuador. The total cost of production for the first year will be $ 196,800.79, which gives a unit cost of production of $ 1.81, which, increasing the profit margin of 24.4%, yields a Unit Sales Price of $ 2.25 for each mint ointment of 105 grams. The break-even point for the first year according to the installed capacity will be 54.07%, and depending on the sales is at 244,820.18 cents. The Net Present Value will have a value of $ 104,412.84, the Internal Rate of Return is at 67.77%, the period of recovery of the capital will be given in 1 year, 6 months and 28 days, in the cost benefit ratio will be obtains a value of 0.32 cents for every dollar invested, the sensitivity analysis shows that the project supports an 18.05% increase in its costs and 13.88% in the decrease of its income, giving in these percentages the two analyzes a 0.99 which means that at this point the company will not suffer changes or alterations. The aforementioned result shows that the implementation of the investment project is feasible. |
