Zusammenfassung:The present thesis entitled: "The prescription of acquisition of ownership and its recognition by the Decentralized Autonomous Governments, in the adjudication of property titles", refers to the delivery of titles of possession to people who are without any title, and according to the prescription acquisitive domain, I establish several objectives in order to implement sufficient legal standard for citizens to go to an entity through an administrative process and issue a reasoned resolution where the recognition and ownership of the asset that is in possession is granted. Autonomous cantonal decentralized governments, enjoy political, administrative and financial autonomy, demonstrating their ability to proceed to know these procedures, in turn demonstrate the need to develop a project to reform the Civil Code of Ecuador, in conjunction with the Organic Code of Territorial Organization , Autonomy and Decentralization, in its pertinent articles, thus allowing the administrative procedure to be a legitimate way to claim the acquisitive prescription of ownership since its inapplicability obeys the lack of legal regulations, which prevents its execution according to the hypothesis. Likewise, materials and methods were applied to develop the present investigation, this through interviews and surveys, which served to propose a project having the proper foundation for this same work that is carried out with the sole purpose of guaranteeing the rights of the people who are in possession of a property without any title.
