| Sumari: | The current research project deals with the feasibility of a motorized canoe transport service company with the purpose of helping to bring people to the interior of the jungle, located in the parroquia Canelos in the province and canton of Pastaza. The investigative methods and techniques used were: the scientific method that allows for the observation and compilation of the necessary information for the elaboration of the project; the deductive method marked the norms to begin from the general to the specific in the development of the reference theories fundamentals; the inductive method served to study specific cases applicable to the reality investigated, and here is reflected the feasibility of the project´s implementation. The statistical method shows the size of the sample group used for the project´s elaboration. Through the application of the analytical synthetic method during the inferential reading and value of the bibliography compiled in books, pamphlets, and magazines, one could emphasize the basic aspects of the water transport service. Another method used was the mathematical that through calculating different formulas and graphs, allowed for obtaining information for the Financial Study and Economic Evaluation. The application of techniques was an aspect of great importance in the compiling of information, through interviewing those who offer motorized canoe transport service, the service process was observed and examined, allowing for the increase of knowledge regarding this subject, a survey was given to the population of the province of Pastaza. The study of the market showed an annual offer of 59.472 motorized canoe transport services of people, faced with an unsatisfied demand of 146.891 transport services. As the years progress, between 2014 to 2023 there will be a greater deficit each year. The technical study allowed the establishment of the optimum size of the project, the unsatisfied demand of the service shows that the implementation of the business RIOVISTA is viable, with an installed capacity of 9.360 annual motorized canoe services, the business will begin its activities using 82% of the installed capacity, that corresponds to 7.675 motorized canoe services of people, increasing each year to 2% to finally arrive at 100% in the tenth year of life of the project. To determine the helpful place a matrix of factors was done, where one could concretely locate the place with the best point whose result was the Community of Puerto Canelos, neighborhood Los Laureles Street 1 and Malecon A lot # 168. The business RIOVISTA has an organizational structure according to the requirements for the execution of the project, and it´s legal base will be registered as a Limited Company denominated MOTORIZED CANOE TRANSPORT SERVICE ¨RIOVISTA¨ CIA. LTDA. The financial study reflected the following values that are positive; the total of fixed actives is 21.955,82 dollars that corresponds to 63,10%, differing actives 1.181,10 dollars that corresponds to 3,40%, checking actives that correspond to operating capital 11.656,36 dollars corresponding to 33,50% giving a total inversion of 34,793.28 dollars; will conform a business of Limited Company, that will have two partners who will finance the total cost of the project in percentages of 50% each. The State of Results shows a net utility of 27.745,45 dollars in the first year, after which it will increase in the following years. During the financial evaluation of the project it was shown that the Actual Net Value is positive with a value of 143. 322,82 dollars, the Internal Rate of Return is 37,10% which is better than the opportunity cost of capital of 10,69%, the Cost Benefit Relation indicates that for each dollar invested 0.78 cents of utility will be obtained, the Period of Capital Recuperation is 1 year, three months and 22 days; and based on the Sensibility Analysis a satisfactory result is shown that allows for a 41% increase in costs, giving a total of 0,99 and a lowering of receipts of 22%, giving a total of 0,99, which indicates that the project is not sensible to future alterations. In consideration of the facts, it can be concluded that it is suitable to implement the project, taking into account that its indicators of evaluation are satisfactory and assure the investment. |
