An average ETc value of 3,59 mm/day was found during the vegetative cycle of the culture.Un lisímetro de pesaje (FELT 6), relativamente económico fue adquirido por el departamento de Riegos del Área Agropecuaria de Recursos Naturales Renovables e instalado con el objeto de comprobar su funcionalidad para medir la evapotranspiración potencial (ETp). Un total de 24 recipientes se utilizaron como envases receptores de suelo; en ellos se sembró el cultivo de fréjol (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) y debajo se colocaron tarrinas plásticas para recolectar el drenaje. El lisímetro de pesaje a la experiencia demostró la sencillez y fácil manejo, pero no así la estabilidad. Los resultados obtenidos demostraron poca confiabilidad en las mediciones del aparato.
