Summary:Burnout syndrome greatly affects people subjected to stressors, this can occur in any area of life, whether work, family, academics, etc. That is why the present research work aims to determine how the burnout syndrome inpacts caregiver's health and the quality of service provided to the patient diagnosed with end-stage cancer. For this research 70 users of the Solca Oncology Hospital in the city of Loja were surveyed, with which it was carried out the non-experimental and descriptive study supported by the use of instruments with high validity and reliability such as Zarit's test and in the same way a survey made by the researcher was applied. It is evident the denial, depression or anxiety within the emotional factors in the informal primary caregiver emotional ambivalence, So it was also determined that most of the individuals involved in the study initiated care on their own initiative and finally a significant group have severe overload. Based on these criteria a psychotherapeutic was develop aimed at improving their emotional states that causes the Burnout syndrome.
