Zusammenfassung:The present final work degree represents the compilation of information about the methodologies for the development of educational mobile applications, this work was obtained from doctoral thesis, master's thesis, degrees thesis and scientific articles. The final work degree is directed to make a contribution in the area of methodology area for the design, development and evaluation of educational mobile applications because there are no methodological guides that guide developers to create quality applications in the aforementioned field. The final proposal is given by an analysis of the current situation according to the use of methodologies for the development of mobile applications, as well as those aspects focused on the correct application of pedagogy with new technologies in students. These analyzed methodologies have been MDAEM, MOBILE-D, XP and ICONIX, which were taken due to their degree of occupation and importance in the Engineering of Systems cateer at the National University of Loja. After this analysis, the construction of the new methodology was continued for the development of educational mobile applications, it was based on two of the methodologies analyzed before (MDAEM and MOBILE-D), that after being the case study “Desarrollo de un tutor inteligente para enseñanza del idioma inglés en niños de cinco a seis años” (STIEII) and by means of the descriptive comparison, it was proved that they were the most suitable for the purpose the present final work. In particular, the methodology proposed is applicable to the process of developing educational mobile applications, being contemplated in the different methodological stages, pedagogical nature aspects that are not taken into account in usual methodologies. As a result of this research, it has been possible to propose a methodology that allows in a simple way, the design and development of mobile applications for educational purposes. This methodology consists of the following stages: Requirements Specification of, System Analysis, System design, Testing and Deployment.
