Тойм:This research allows evaluating the quality of the lighting level of the blocks of the Faculty of Energy, Industries and Non-Renewable Natural Resources (FEIRNNR), it is oriented mainly in the measurement and evaluation of the lighting system in different environments, whose purpose is to create an energy efficiency plan and propose proposals aimed at the use of efficient and control elements that allow reducing energy consumption in the FEIRNNR. The project focuses on the survey and audit of the current lighting system, collecting technical information, lighting levels, status of the lights, distribution of the lights in each of the environments. Specialized software was used that allowed to carry out the lighting analysis of a physical area and determine the most efficient luminaire quickly and precisely, in addition, the areas that did not comply with the “INEN 1153” and “NEC 11” standards were identified. Ecuatoriana de la Construcción), these allow verifying that each study area complies with the appropriate lighting level. Based on these analyzes, an energy management system is proposed under the “INEN 50001” regulation, where some energy efficiency plans are detailed, later some conclusions and recommendations are included to improve the energy efficiency of the faculty, reduce costs in the implementation, reduction of electricity consumption and therefore reduction of the economic cost that would represent the replacement of the current lighting system.
