Streszczenie:The present research work has a reference to the Methods and Techniques of Evaluation used by teachers of mathematics in the Academic Performance of the ninth year students of the basic general education of the Educational Unit 8 of December of the parish of San Pedro de La Bendita, Canton Catamayo, province of Loja, period 2018-2019. Alternative guidelines, the same one that refers to an agreement in the Regulation of the Academic Regime of the National University of Loja. The Evaluation Methods and Techniques used by mathematics teachers are investigated to determine the Academic Performance of the ninth grade students of the basic general education of Educational Unit 8 of December of the parish of San Pedro de la Bendita, canton Catamayo, province of Loja, period 2018-2019, by means of the survey technique for teachers and students. Next, the technique of direct observation is applied through cards, to contrast the results of the survey. It includes the continuous record of students' grades corresponding to the evaluations of the first text, the comparisons with the second exam, the application of a different evaluation to the previous ones, in order to determine their academic performance, and the identification The margin of variation between the two registers. It is concluded that the lack of knowledge and evaluation techniques on the part of the teachers entails the disinterest of the students and that it does not allow to enhance their academic performance, which is why teachers are recommended to be trained in the appropriate methods and techniques in the evaluation process; Faced with this reality, alternative guidelines are established.
