總結:The present degree work is entitled: "Doctrinal and legal study of the educational axis in people deprived of liberty". its importance lies, due to the abandonment of prisons and the constant violation of the rights of persons deprived of liberty in social rehabilitation centers in Ecuador, has generated deficient results in the treatment they receive. The importance of the educational axis consists of a treatment oriented towards the Rehabilitation of the person deprived of liberty, and thus their reintegration into society can be achieved, therefore, this research seeks to verify its compliance and analyze how the educational axis is developed in the prison system in Ecuador. Based on statistical data from the National Service for Comprehensive Attention to Adults Deprived of Liberty and Adolescent Offenders (SNAI), until April 2021, the prison population between men and women reached the figure of 38,614 people. From these figures it is clear that only 2% of people deprived of liberty have taken part in educational, sports, work, etc. programs. Thus, the percentage of Persons Deprived of Liberty who are part of these treatment axes is significantly low. The need to guarantee detainees the Right to Education is of vital importance, not only because this is a right that is the essence of every human being, but also for the personal benefit of who receives education and the auspicious impact of a Human Rights Education in participation and real belonging in society and in the construction of culture within the framework of Human Rights. This work exposes a review of the reality of the penitentiary system based on the public policies applied and the efficiency in the social reintegration of people deprived of liberty. The investigative work was developed using research materials and methods that allowed collecting, processing and concluding the information expressed. To obtain the public perspective regarding the education of the deprived of liberty, use was made of the application of surveys and interviews, were used, carried out with the personnel who work at the Mixed Social Rehabilitation Center of Loja No. 1, teachers from the Private Technical University of Loja and National University of Loja, legal professionals, practicing lawyers and prosecutors. Concluding, this work focuses on the importance of guaranteeing the rights of persons deprived of liberty, strengthening the educational axis through incentives and recognition, that is, rewarding the educational achievements of prisoners with incentives such as sentence 5 reduction, access to additional activities or special recognitions, implement tutoring and support programs where inmates with educational skills can help their peers learn and progress academically, evaluate and monitor the educational progress of inmates and adjust programs as necessary to ensure effective learning, adequate education and a rehabilitative approach.
