It aims to apply mathematical game as a strategy to stimulate student interest. The research corresponds to a pre experimental design, the methods used to conduct the research was comprehensive, analytic-synthetic, model or workshop proactive and comprehensive evaluation, with the technique of direct observation and the application of a survey to the teachers and students in order to get timely information on the development of research among the instruments used are the observation guide and questionnaire. We worked with 24 students and one teacher. It terminating the investigation disclosed that teachers do not apply different strategies existing in the area of math correctly, leading to no interest in learning by students develop, and noted that the implementation of the strategy use math games by the researcher through the development of the workshop method, closely benefited students and teachers helping to reduce the shortcomings that have children for a good optimal development of learning.
