| Yhteenveto: | The present work has like purpose to investigate the influence of the use of concret material in the study of the block of geometry and measure block and on the academic performance of the eighth year of basic general education of the Unidad Educativa Adolfo Valarezo, academic period 2018-2019.For the research phase, a preliminary survey was conducted on the use of specific material and how it influences the academic performance of students; for this was used methods such as scientific, statistical, bibliographic and inductive- deductive and techniques such as surveys, observations and the recording of notes, which allowed to obtain results with which it was determined that teachers in the subject do use concrete material and that the most commonly used materials in the classes are squares, boxes and geometric bodies, besides, the academic performance of the students improved considerably by obtaining an overall average of 7.04 out of 10 after the use of concrete material. they achieve the required learnings, which allows to check the hypothesis posed. The results are concluded that students improve academic performance when using specific material, such as geometric bodies, squares and boxes, so the use of this type of material in geometry block classes and Measure. Finally, an alternative proposal was put up, consisting of a didactic guide, which contemplates the use of concrete material, general teaching suggestions to work with the material, practical classes where the student is sought physically and individually interact with the material and thus improve your academic performance. |
