It comes as a problem with multiple causes and consequences drags personal, family, school and social, so it is important to determine drug use in students to be the population most at risk and vulnerability. In interviews with the authorities of the institution indicated that observed in manifestations and signs of drug use, which is why this research was conducted that was descriptive cross-sectional study population was made up of all high school students of both sexes, belonging to the National School Adolfo Valarezo Loja city whose objective was to determine the presence of cocaine and ecstasy and identify major risk factors for consumption. Examined a total of 224 urine samples which were subjected to the analysis through an inmunochromatographic rapid test. In conclusion through surveys of students could identify triggers that influence the consumption and sale of drugs and outside sales within the institution, also not found cocaine or ecstasy, according to test and finally the dissemination of the results was performed to students and teachers with the exception of parents.
