Shrnutí:The purpose of this research study was to develop the memory of high school children from the "Adolfo Valarezo" Educational Unit of the City of Loja for the 2019-2020 school year, for which I decided to use sensory games. The research design used was: experimental, cross-sectional and pre-experimental. The following methods were used: analytical, deductive, historical-comparative and dialectical; To obtain the information, the classroom teacher was interviewed and the instrument used was the TOMAL memory and learning test (test divided into verbal and non-verbal memory). The population was 46 people, taking as a non-probabilistic sample of 20 children and 1 teacher. The results of the memory diagnosis determined that 100% of the population have very deficient and deficient levels in terms of verbal and non-verbal memory, observing problems to memorize letters, phrases, images, numbers, figures, tell stories, etc., as well An alternative proposal was applied to improve and develop memory in children called "Awakening my senses", based on sensory game activities related to memory, where the results obtained show great progress in it, giving 15% to the level medium, 40% at a low medium level, and 45% at a deficient level, showing a significant improvement, reaching the conclusion that sensory games contribute eloquently, due to the increase in the ability to remember information through experience sensory, allowing them to improve memory levels in children
