Summary:For the present study was planned as general objective: To analyze the development of fine motor skills as the basis for learning prewriting children preschool level. It is a descriptive study in a sample of 24 children, supported in the scientific, assertive methods - deductive. The instruments used were, scale type motor development of children, pre-writing test, test Tepsi. Results: 66.70% develop fine motor lacks handling and refinement of the clamp, 45, 83% is in the stage of starting the management of digital caliper, and in the process of hand-eye coordination. We conclude that children / as have not fully developed fine motor skills in all aspects preventing proper learning of prewriting, showing rustic when taking the pencil, making clamp, draw lines, can not copy spellings.
