| description | Adventure tourism is essential for local development in a tourist destination, so the present work was carried out with the objective of strengthening the tourist attractions: the Overlook "Shiriculapo" and the Mountain "Pisaca" of Paltas canton through adventure tourism, these attractions are considered as the most outstanding of the canton through the records raised in the Sustainable Tourism Strategic Plans (PETS), where these natural attractions were identified as priorities. The present work has as a general objective to strengthen the natural tourist attractions of the Shiriculapo Overlook and Pisaca Mountain of the Paltas canton through adventure tourism, in the same way, three specific objectives were established such as: Diagnose the current situation of the Shiriculapo Overlook and Pisaca Mountain from the Paltas canton; Determine the needs of potential demand for adventure tourism in the Shiriculapo Overlook and Pisaca Mountain in the Paltas canton; and finally, Propose strategies for the implementation of adventure tourism sports for the tourist development of the Paltas canton, for the investigation the deductive method was applied through which the main information of the tourist attractions was collected, the descriptive method allowed to analyze the information obtained from the primary and secondary sources to verifying how the tourist attractions are located, some research techniques were also used such as: direct observation, interviews that allowed collecting accurate information on the attractions and the economically active population, surveys and the SWOT analysis to know the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats, the Cross SWOT was also developed with which the strategies in the implementation of adventure sports such as tourism promotion and strategic alliances were determined. According to the results obtained, in the tourist diagnosis, it was found that the town has an infrastructure, services and tourist resources such as accommodation, food, tourist information, among other important aspects that allow the tourist to select the place for tourism. The tourist attractions allow the practice of adventure sports such as: cycling, hiking, camping, rappelling or descents, climbing and slacklining or tightrope; the last one would be used as a complementary activity. |

The tourist attractions allow the practice of adventure sports such as: cycling, hiking, camping, rappelling or descents, climbing and slacklining or tightrope; the last one would be used as a complementary activity.El turismo de aventura es esencial para el desarrollo local en un destino turístico, por lo que el presente trabajo se realizó con el objetivo de fortalecer turísticamente los atractivos turísticos Mirador Shiriculapo y Cerro Pisaca del cantón Paltas a través del turismo de aventura, estos atractivos son considerados como los más sobresalientes del cantón mediante las fichas levantadas en los Planes Estratégicos de Turismo Sostenible (PETS), en donde se identificaron estos atractivos naturales como prioritarios. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo general fortalecer de los atractivos turísticos naturales Mirador Shiriculapo y Cerro Pisaca del cantón Paltas a través del turismo de aventura, de igual forma , se estableció tres objetivos específicos como son: Diagnosticar la situación actual del Mirador Shiriculapo y Cerro Pisaca del cantón Paltas; Determinar las necesidades de la demanda potencial frente el turismo de aventura en el Mirador Shiriculapo y Cerro Pisaca del cantón Paltas; y finalmente, Proponer estrategias para la implementación de los deportes de turismo de aventura para el desarrollo turístico del cantón Paltas, para la investigación se aplicó el método deductivo mediante el cual se recolectó la información principal de los atractivos turísticos, el método descriptivo permitió analizar los datos obtenidos de la fuentes primarias y secundarias para constatar cómo se encuentran los atractivos turísticos; también se utilizaron algunas técnicas de investigación como: la observación directa, entrevistas que permitieron recoger información precisa de los atractivos y de la población económicamente activa, encuestas y el análisis FODA para conocer las fortalezas, oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas, también se desarrolló el FODA cruzado con el que se determinó las estrategias en la implementación de deportes de aventura como la promoción turística y alianzas estratégicas. Según los resultados obtenidos, en el diagnóstico turístico se encontró que la localidad cuenta con una infraestructura, servicios y recursos turísticos como alojamiento, alimentación, información turística, entre otros, aspectos importantes que permiten al turista seleccionar el lugar para realizar turismo.
