Izvleček:The research entitled INCIDENCE OF TEACHING MATERIAL USED BY THE TEACHERS OF THE MATHEMATICAL COURSE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF SKILLS WITH PERFORMANCE CRITERIA IN THE NINTH YEAR STUDENTS OF BASIC GENERAL EDUCATION OF THE SCHOOL OF BACCALAUREATE "FEBRUARY 27" OF THE CITY OF LOJA, 2016-2017 PERIOD. ALTERNATIVE GUIDELINES. Its general objective was to determine the incidence of the use of didactic material used by teachers of the ninth year of General Basic Education in the subject of mathematics, in the development of skills with performance criteria of the students of the Ninth Year of General Basic Education of the School of Bachillerato "27 de Febrero" of the city of Loja, period 2016-2017. The research is descriptive-explanatory with a Quantitative approach. The methodology used was based on the scientific method complemented with the inductive, deductive, analytical-synthetic, logical, and empirical method, having applied the survey techniques and the objective test for the collection of field information. The population is constituted by two teachers of mathematics and one hundred and twenty students of Ninth Year of Basic General Education, after the analysis and interpretation of the data it is determined that the teacher does not elaborate didactic material, since she prefers the theoretical exposition to impart the teaching of the contents of the subject of mathematics, developing in the student mechanical processes that do not allow him to generate significant learning necessary for the resolution of problems of daily life.
