The play activity in children have educational purposes and also helps in increasing their creative abilities, so it is considered an effective mean for reality understanding. The recreational activity is one of the children development lines. The recreational activity is important for creativity and is a complementary technique to the analysis of the child. The present study aimed to: examine whether the play activity affects the creativity of children of first year of basic education of "Juan MariaRiofrío" Joint School in Loja city period 2011-2012. The methods used for the preparation of this research work were: scientific, analytic-synthetic, deductive-inductive and descriptive method; survey techniques and direct observation were used; instruments used were an observation guide and a structured questionnaire; the research was conducted in the "Juan MariaRiofrío" Joint School in the academic year 2011-2012, taking a total sample of 25 children and two teachers. For fieldwork the directors of the "Juan MariaRiofrío" School were asked for permission to conduct the research, then the consent was requested to children and their parents are since all of them are minors. After the corresponding data analysis, it is concluded that the recreational activity does by 100% influence on the creativity of children from Pre-primary of the "Juan MariaRiofrío" Joint School in the city of Loja, therefore the recreational activity is a key activity in the development of the girl and boy, to the point that will influence both the ease to acquire and assimilate new learning, the same as on their future creativity. Besides the creativity developed during early childhood allows humans to adapt to any environment manifesting with greater freedom and spontaneity, ready to do new things, creating, inventing and discovering. |
