Résumé:Eating Disorders (ED) are characterized by persistent disturbances in eating, body perception, and weight control. These include anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, pica and rumination, the most common being anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa, which mainly affect adolescents and young women. These disorders not only impact the physical health, but also the emotional and social well-being of those who suffer from them. Its origin and maintenance are associated with biological, psychological and sociocultural factors, among which certain personality traits such as perfectionism, impulsivity and negative affectivity stand out. The objectives of this research were to determine the scientific evidence on people with ED; to identify the main personality traits in people with ED; to establish the main sociodemographic and epidemiological characteristics in this group of people; and finally, to design an informative guide on psychological strategies for people with ED. In this way, descriptive, quantitative, cross-sectional, documentary research was carried out, which analyzed 20 scientific articles selected using the PRISMA method, covering a sample of 80,148 participants. The results determined that there is scientific evidence, in addition, it was shown that perfectionism, impulsivity, and negative affectivity are predominant traits in people with ED, influencing their development and recovery. It was also identified that these disorders affect mostly young women with an average age of 19.7 years, with anorexia nervosa being the most common diagnosis. As part of the practical contributions, an Information Guide on psychological strategies for people with ED was designed, which represents an innovative and effective tool to address this mental health problem. The guide includes personalized resources, practical exercises, and selfapplicable questionnaires that guarantee an effective accompaniment to achieve a healthy relationship with food
