Yhteenveto:There are several techniques for placing a sealant, among which is most controversial is the mechanical or not pits and fissures so that there is better adaptation of the sealant, the aim of this investigation is to determine the influence of the preparation Tooth (ameloplastia) in the adaptability of sealant resin. We worked with 30 premolars divided into two groups, 15 teeth each, underwent prophylaxis, the Group A underwent ameloplastia and Group B without mechanical preparation of crack. Then he proceeded to phosphoric acid etching, washing, drying, sealant placement Helioseal F Vivadent, and curing. The teeth were stored in distilled water at 37 ° C for 24 hours. Subsequently to simulate the oral environment was used two water baths at 5 ° C (refrigerator) and 55 ° C (incubator), at each dipping for 30 seconds in a total of 250 cycles. Then the tips of the pieces were sealed with a composite resin and placed a layer of clear nail varnish except 2mm from where it was placed the sealant. Immersed in the methylene blue 0.5% per 24 hours. Cuts were made, and samples were taken at 100x stereomicroscope, capturing images. Was analyzed by Chi-Square obtaining x ² = 1.11, meaning the type of preparation (with and without ameloplastia) relates to the degree of microfiltration. Keywords: Sealants, ameloplastia, microfiltration.
