要約:The research called teaching materials FACTOR AS ADJUVANT TO DEVELOP SKILLS WITH PERFORMANCE CRITERIA Module 6 AREA OF MATHEMATICS IN CHILDREN OF SECOND YEAR OF GENERAL BASIC EDUCATION SCHOOL "Julio Maria Matovelle" IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD BANDA, PARISH THE VALLEY, canton and province of Loja, in the school year 2013-214, had as general objective to use the teaching materials as a contributing factor for math classes to improve student learning and to achieve development skills with performance criteria. This research was quasi - experimental. The methodology followed the stages of analytical, synthetic and descriptive method. Besides the technique of direct observation and survey involving teacher and students was used; as a result it became clear that the teacher does not constantly use teaching materials to impart knowledge of mathematics and why students put little interest classes, consequently, inadequate assimilation of knowledge is presented, reflecting the low skill development with performance criteria. In the research work they involved 28 students and teachers of the second parallel level "A". Finally it was concluded that the lack of use and application of teaching materials as a contributing factor, students do not pay the necessary attention and therefore there is a low skill development with performance criteria.
