The main results of the research are: assessment methods used by teachers of mathematics in the Geometric Block are not appropriate for students to develop skills with the performance index, which is determined using traditional methods, limiting enhance the learning process of students and in turn to the development of skills in the Geometric Block. For results based on these guidelines qualify as alternative Workshop Seminar on the main methods of assessment to be used by teachers in students to achieve better learning where allowed to develop skills with performance criteria and likewise allowing improve the teacher's role as lead agency in the construction of knowledge
