| Ամփոփում: | Burnout syndrome is an inappropriate response to crhonic job stress, characterized by emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and student incompetence at the university level. This researchs derives from the macro Project that sought to correlate academic perfomance with Burnout at the Faculty of Human Health of the Universidad Nacional de Loja. Therefore, this study aims to determine Burnout síndrome an academic perfomance in Medicina students, identify the presence of Burnout Syndrome in students, and determine academic performance, establish the relationship between Burnout Syndrome and academic performance, and recognize the academic cycle with the greatest presence of this pathology. The research is descriptive, with a qualitative, correlational, cross-sectional approacg; With a sample of 219 students who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the Maslach Burnout Inventory was applied. The results obtained, showed the prevalence of Burnout in 19.2% of students, being higher in the sixth cycle. Regarding academic performance, 50.20% present very Good grades and of the students who suffer from Burnout, 35.70% have this average. According to Pearson's correlation, a value of 0.276 and bilateral significance of <.001 were obtained, there is a relationship between Burnout and academic perfomance, accepting the alternative hypotesis |
