Riassunto:The teaching and learning process of Natural Sciences subject, can be enhanced through the application of active constructivist methodological strategies; since they promote the motivation and participation of students in the development of the teaching and learning process, being the reason of this research was developed, which aim was «To enhance the academic performance of students, through the application of constructivist methodological strategies, which motivate their active participation in the teaching and learning process of Natural Science subject in students of eight-year, academic period 2022 – 2023». For its development, the inductive method was applied, because it began with direct observation, to detect the research problem. The approach was qualitative, since relevant characteristics were determined around the development of the teaching and learning process (TLP) before and after the application of the constructivist methodological strategies. The type of research, according to the nature of information, corresponds to participatory action research, and according to this, a proposal of intervention was elaborated and implemented, the same that contributed with the improvement of the teaching and learning process. Likewise, taking into account the temporality, the research was cross- sectional, hence; since the diagnosis to the obtention of final results belong to a very short period of time. Once this research was made, it was concluded that strategies like: learning by discovery, collaborative work, and experimentation, as the authors mentioned; and was evident the job made with the students, are effective and promote the dynamism, motivation and participation in the classroom process, that is evidenced in the significative improvement of their academic performance.
