| Samenvatting: | The present thesis entitled: GRAPHIC-PLASTIC TECHNIQUES TO IMPROVE THE FINE MOTOR SKILLS IN CHILDREN WITH MILD AND MODERATE INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY FROM 6 TO 9 YEARS OLD, AT DEVELOPMENT CENTER AND SPECIAL EDUCATION “EL ANGEL” OF LOJA CITY IN THE PERIOD MARCH - JULY 2015. This work is part of the action research model, through the intervention period, the types of descriptive, correlational and explanatory study were used for this research work, likewise a mixed approach, in other words quantitative and qualitative; besides the methods used fall into three areas: theoretical-diagnostic, design and planning of the proposal and evaluation and assessment of it, so the following methods were applied: scientific, analytical, synthetic, deductive, historical, descriptive and dialectical; which allowed the researcher to understand the relationship between the variables of this study. Regarding to the assessment instrument, a return allowed to know the level in which the fine motor skills of that children with moderate intellectual disabilities are stated; and finally a daily activities record which contributed to analyze the performance or non-performance of the activities within the proposal was developed. After finishing the graphic-plastic techniques workshop the researcher is able to mention that there was an improvement in fine motor skills of children, since nowadays most of children are placed in a very satisfactory and successful fine motor level, therefore it is recommended to use graphic-plastic techniques to improve fine motor difficulties |
